Frequently asked questions
Who should come to Rehab Care Clinic for treatment?
Anyone with pain in any part of the body, or with injuries to the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments or nerves, should come to the clinic for treatment, including:
- People with chronic pain, such as neck pain, back pain, knee pain or frozen shoulder
- People with injuries from accidents, exercise or work
- People with office syndrome, muscle tightness or numbness
- People who need rehabilitation after surgery, such as knee or spinal surgery
- People who want to stay healthy and strong and prevent premature joint degeneration
If pain starts to interfere with your daily life, consult a doctor or physical therapist promptly, before the problem worsens and becomes chronic.
How many sessions will I need before I feel better?
The number of sessions depends on the severity of your symptoms and how you respond to treatment. Our doctors and physical therapists assess you and design an individual treatment plan. Most patients start to feel better after about 3–4 sessions, but chronic conditions may need ongoing care for a while to achieve clear, lasting results. We usually recommend 1–2 sessions per week, and the pain will gradually ease. Once symptoms improve, you will need to build further muscle strength and flexibility and strictly follow the advice of your doctor and physical therapist. When your body receives the right care, recovery will be smooth and lasting.
How is physical therapy different from massage?
Physical therapy focuses on treating “the root cause of the pain”, not just providing temporary relief. We carry out a thorough physical assessment to identify the causes or everyday habits that contribute to your pain, and design an individual treatment plan. We select the appropriate physical therapy equipment and provide advice on correct posture, tailored exercises and lifestyle changes to restore your body for the long term and prevent recurrence. At Rehab Care Clinic, our goal is to help you return to your daily life with confidence and enjoy a better quality of life.
Can I claim on my health insurance?
Yes, you can claim on your insurance, either under an OPD (outpatient) policy or a company group policy. Rehab Care Clinic works on a pay-and-claim basis: you pay first and then submit the documents to your insurer yourself. We recommend checking the details and conditions of your policy carefully and letting our clinic staff know. Approval of the claim is at the discretion of the insurance company. The clinic is happy to provide all the documents your insurer requires.
How is treatment at Rehab Care Clinic different from other clinics?
At Rehab Care Clinic, we focus on treating the root cause of your symptoms, not just relieving pain temporarily. We use precise assessment techniques together with combined treatment approaches, such as ultrasound-guided injections, physical therapy and changes to daily habits, to achieve lasting results and reduce the chance of recurrence.
